 About Us

a2 Consulting and its professional partners have had many years experience in the provision of strategic policy guidance and practical support to public and private sector organisations in Britain and Europe.

The consultancy contributes to and monitors the development of best practice internationally and works closely with leading organisations in the field to assist companies and public bodies in the promotion and maintenance of fitter and happier workforces.

a2 Consulting helps facilitate two leading organisations, the European Network for Workplace Health Promotion and the Enterprise for Health Network and has provided services to Britain’s CHAP – Corporate Health & Performance Network.

The European networks bring together some of the EC’s biggest companies, together employing more than one million people, to address growing concerns over the physical and mental well-being of employees. In recent years this role has taken a2 Consulting to Germany, Portugal, Spain, France, Hungary and Poland. The consultancy has also worked in Estonia for a WHO project and in Belgium for the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health.

In Britain, the consultancy has been commissioned to carry out project development and implementation services across the full spectrum of workplace well-being issues, including audits, facilitation, promotion, training, the creation of focus groups and mentoring. Stress courses have been delivered to more than 2,000 managers and staff in the public and private sectors.

a2 Consulting is contracted by Welsh Assembly Government to carry out assessments and give guidance to organisations applying for the Assembly’s flagship workplace health promotion initiative, Health at Work: The Corporate Standard. This is a quality benchmark and award scheme covering all public bodies and a number of progressive private companies. Currently, more than 80 organisations, employing more than 350,000, are seeking accreditation through the scheme.

The partnership also has a public relations arm specialising in all aspects of external and internal communications, including media and community relations, crisis management and stakeholder publications.
